Natural Home Remedies For Hair Greying

  • Wet a lemon half and rub lemon juice into the scalp well. Wash off after it turns dry.
  • Grind 1 tablespoon each, pulp of amla and lime juice. Massage this into the hair before going to bed. Wash it next morning.
  • Soak shredded ginger (adrak) in honey. Eat a spoonful every morning.
  • Amla is a valuable hair treatment for enriching hair growth. The fruit, cut into pieces, should be dried, preferably in the shade. These pieces should be boiled in coconut oil till the solid matter become little charred dust. This darkish oil is very useful in preventing greying.
  • Diet is the most importance in the treatment of premature greying of hair and persons suffering from this disorder should take a diet rich in all essential nutrients.
  • Avoid devitalising foods, devitalising foods such as white flour, refined sugar and all products made from them, soft drinks, pastries, jams and jellies should be avoided. These foods take away energy, cause wrinkles, unattractive skin, grey hair, and premature old age.
